Fab shop machine operator

Purpose: 

Fabrication shop machine operators run shearing, punching, forming on cold work and hot work depending on the type of parts 

 Job Responsibilities: 

• Operate a variety of cold and hot work fabrication machines safely, efficiently and with adherence to quality control procedures in place 

• Shears, hot and cold punching machines, hot and cold forming machines 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED with emphasis on vocational skills 

• Demonstrate basic math, print reading and communication skills 

• Previous fabrication experience is preferred
